COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Our mission is to promote an interest of aviation to the future generation of potential aviators.  WAI War Eagle chapter partners with the local Girl Scout Troop, where we teach them about airplanes, careers in aviation, and the aerodynamics behind flight.  We also host airport field trips for grades K-12 where we encourage students to pursue an interest in aviation. Our members speak at STEM events and career fairs at local schools. Our biggest event is Girls in Aviation Day which we host each fall semester.
